Remember when you would see those postage stamp machines hanging on the wall? you could be at the hardware store or the local A & P and buy a small amount of stamps to mail your letter and they came out pressed between two small pieces of cardboard.

Men automatically removing their hats at a restaurant
kids used to stay with their parents (within a few feet anyway) when they went to the store and MAYBE, if you asked real nice, you got permission to look at all the new baseball gloves in the sporting goods section.......and you better still be there when dad showed up.
When is the last time you took a bus? i used to take three buses BY MYSELF to go to a baseball game. now i won't even get on a bus.

When's the last time someone held a door for you at the store or the quick mart or 7-11?

When's the last time a teenager held out his hand when introduced to someone for the first time? if i had answered "hey" instead of shaking hands.......ouch.
bubble lights on a christmas tree
neighborhood kids playing a pick-up game of baseball in the summertime
kids riding bicycles
a newsstand at a busy city intersection that had all the city papers and magazines
live music at the local bowling alley lounge
yelling out the window at that newsstand guy and he would run the tribune over to your car
kids trading baseball cards
baseball cards in the spokes of your bike
Does anyone go near the school playground or ball fields in the summer?
When's the last time a family, the entire family, sat down for a non-holiday dinner?
people having dinner without looking at their phones
softball teams wearing complete and matching uniforms
a kid knocking on your door asking to shovel your walk
corner mail boxes every two blocks
kids banging pots & pans on their front porch at midnight on new year's eve
