STUFF I THINK I'M SURE OF.........

I get the feeling that little donnie is feeling the pressure with the newest FBI investigation into his contacts with russia but he continues to lash out at everyone and deny everything but just like the playground bully, i have a very strong feeling that eventually he'll get his clock cleaned.

The shutdown has now reached record status and little donnie is solely responsible for the stress and agony of the 800,000 people he put out of work, not mention the domino affect the shutdown has placed on local economies because almost a million people can't shop or buy clothes or put gas in their car, affecting local owners who normally provide those services.

And i just heard that food stamps will be cut off after the february allotment is distributed to the recipients. nice.

question: when trump had both the house & senate in his pocket for two years, why didn't he get his 5 billion dollars then? he KNEW the democrats were going to take over the house last november and they had made their positions very clear regarding the wall so why didn't he move before the mid-terms?  did he actually think he was going to bully the democrats into giving up the billions and ignore more pressing matters?

an incredible ending to that double murder in wisconsin when that brave teenager escaped her captor after being kidnapped three months ago. JAYME KLOSS, you're a brave young lady and i hope your recovery is as smooth as possible under the circumstances. the very odd part is that the murderer/kidnapper had no prior association with the family. stay tuned.

The federal indictment of long time chicago alderman EDWARD BURKE has thrown the mayoral race into a frenzy. front runner TONI PRECKWINKLE is doing the michael jackson backward moon walk after accepting $110,000 from burke, who held a fund raiser for her at his house and then she refused to answer any questions about how burke's son received a lucrative county job from preckwinkle.  check your toes, toni, because i think you just shot your own foot. when burke's son was questioned about his qualifications for the job, he promptly resigned and refused to answer any questions. ah, chicago politics.

50 years ago this week, JOHNNY CASH recorded an album at folsum prison in california and the album was a monster hit.

40 years ago this week on 1/14/79, chicago got hit with 35" of snow over three days, which paralyzed city and suburbs for 10 days and cost chicago mayor michael bilandic his job in the april primaries when he ordered plows to bypass streets in predominately black neighborhoods.  JAYNE BYRNE beat BILANDIC in the april election by a slim margin and he was done in chicago politics but 5 years later, he was elected to the illinois appelate court and later to the illinois supreme court.

HOW ABOUT THIS WINTER WEATHER?  we went 45 days without a snow storm before getting 3" this weekend.  think about this...... only 67 days until spring.  yessssssssssss.
