hear about the bad luck burglar who broke into a chicago company and vandalized all the machines for the coins? he made quite a haul and even brought his own bank bags to carry the loot. when climbing back to the roof, he slipped off the SECOND step of the ladder (only two feet up) and when he landed on his feet, the bag slipped from his hand and weight of the coins broke his foot in two places. righteous.

ok, rahm emanuel goes to washington d.c. to work for the president and now they challenge his residency in chicago because he rented his house out while serving his country? if that's the case, then every overseas soldier is now a resident of afghanistan. quit wasting our time & money.

the infamous cabrini-green housing project in chicago officially closed yesterday when the last resident was moved out and i see where some of the media is romanticizing that property but the reality of the situation is that it was a jungle inhabited by animals who had no respect for anything including themselves. having been there numerous times to pick up prisoners and witnesses who fled from lake county, i know that most of you would gag at the stench just walking through the hallways but that's how those people chose to live. you might be poor but i know you have a mop, a broom and a dust pan. but they chose to live in squalor & filth. animals. no sympathy.

i see where the new video barbie doll is under suspicion because of the possibilities of 'secret' filming. has the FBI been to a camera store lately? if you want to buy a tiny video camera, you certainly don't need barbie. quit wasting our money.

christmas cards are apparently on the way out as people look to save money in difficult times. the post office anticipates 'only' 1.5 billion cards which is a 15% drop from last year. another reason they hate the internet, which is driving the postal service into extinction.

keep your eye on the situation in melrose park. long rumored to be crooked, several high ranking police administrators were found guilty of duty related felonies and the pension board justifiably took away their pensions. so now the current police admisnistrators have kicked the pension board out of the station because of their pension revocations. watch for the attorney general to start sniffing around which is the last thing they want in melrose park.

here's bullshit wrapped in a MAJOR package. an 11 year old pitcher in little league is struck in the side of the head by a batted ball and unfortunately, loses his hearing in the right ear. the parent's course of action? you guessed it--file suit against the maker of the aluminum bat but here's the real kicker................despite the pending litigation and the 'clear & present danger' of aluminum bats cited in the suit, the parents have allowed their kid back in baseball! quit wasting our time & money.
