the bears are 9-3. please explain how. any weakness they have will be exposed this week against new england and mr. tom brady. as the hawk says before important sox games........"strap it on, cinch it up and hunker down" because this game will tell you everything you need to know about the bears. contenders or pretenders?
the early holidays are nice but nothing warms the cockles of my heart more than watching brett favre getting crushed face first into the turf and being knocked out of the game on the first series. even better is that backup quarterback tavaris jackson performed well when he got his chance to play which gives coach leslie frazier some food for thought.
the white sox and kenny williams don't win them all but you always have to give them an "A" for effort and the big splash signings of free agents. adam dunn, a.j. and now maybe konerko back in the fold? i wonder if that rumor about adrian beltre is true?
and on the other side of town? they signed jeff baker. who? i said the same thing. he's a third baseman who hits .270 and has no power. when you only hit 4 homers while playing in colorado, you really have NO power. i hope the cub fans are preparing for 90 losses........for the next three seasons.....because this team is god awful.
how sweet was that when boise state lost????!!!! now we don't have to hear the whining about how they got screwed by the BCS and the best part is that one loss knocked them from a big payday all the way down to the las vegas bowl on 12/22. shows what the voters think of them overall.
and who got dealt the worst hand in the bowl games? believe it or not, it's the wisconsin badgers who have been put into a 'no win' situation in the rose bowl. beat TCU and everyone says, "so what, they come from a nothing conference" but if you struggle or lose to them, you become the poster boy for over-rated teams. wisconsin has to win by 30 points just to save face and finish second in the polls.
bye for now
