ADIOS RONALD BELLASARIO

There is always a sadness connected with the end of career but not this time. i would like to be the first to help RONALD BELLISARIO out of town by offering him a ride to the airport, although the bus depot would be more appropriate.  the 32 year old journeyman has given me and numerous WHITE SOX fans major bouts of anxiety & angst since the start of the year and IT'S TIME TO SAY GOOD-BYE!

bellisario put the candles on his exit cake over the weekend with virtuoso performances on both saturday & sunday. he faced eight batters combined and gave up seven hits & seven runs. a veteran bullpen guy is supposed to put out fires, not throw gas on them. the sox should have suspected something when the historically pitching-rich dodgers just let him go after appearing in 77 games last year and we had no competition in signing him as a free agent.
it's been nice, ronald.

while we're on the south side, isn't also time to say good-bye to ERIC SURKAMP, another do nothing with an e.r.a. over 10+?? i know he's their only left hander but there HAS TO BE SOMEONE working hard in the minors.

and how about sitting down GORDON BECKHAM? you couldn't trade him a week ago so bring up MICAH JOHNSON from AAA and let's take a look. he's hitting .277 and playing nice defense.

REALITY CHECK: you're not winning anything this year and no, you're not going to win a wild card spot either so let's take a look at the youngsters. they might also fail but they've earned a look. the other guys have already had their opportunities.  and failed miserably.
