just thoughts

HERMAN CAIN. who is he kidding? bottom line, herm. when you're the ceo of a pizza company, sexual misconduct is probably not going to hurt sales and most of the time, litigation gets settled quietly. but when you want to be president.............say goodbye herman. goof.

enough is enough. OCCUPY WALL STREET protesters have had their 15 minutes but now it's time to go home. they're whining about money but have no qualms about the city of chicago paying a half million dollars in overtime to it's police department to provide security. multiply that by a couple of dozen cities and the 'free' protest is anything but. go home or go to jail for trespassing.

RICK PERRY? when you're in a debate on the national stage, you're basically auditioning for the american public and it's sink or swim. however, perry forgot to wear his floaties and embarrassed himself with his loss of memory. we all experience it from time to time but we're not running for president. say goodnight, rick. back to texas.

NEWT GINGRICH? the thrice divorced candidate several years ago came clean about his extra-marital indiscretions so if he can keep his zipper shut for the next year, he has an excellent shot at becoming the next president.

the severe heat in texas & georgia hurt the peanut crop and prices have escalated 30%. result? a shortage of peanut butter at local food banks and homeless shelters because their budgets can't handle the increase. those agencies rely on peanut butter because it's kid-friendly, filled with protein and has a long shelf life. so if you're looking to make an inexpensive donation this holiday season.........

ROD BLAGOJEVICH'S day in court is next tuesday and his legal team got their asses chewed by the sentencing judge on monday for trying to delay blago's sentencing. the team had requested, in a thanksgiving day filing, that the courts play 180 recordings at the upcoming hearing BEFORE the sentence is announced, which might have taken a couple of months. pissing off the judge a week before sentencing? ouch.

blago's buddy, tony rezko, got a 10 1/2 year sentence last week and the thinking is that blago will get more than that which makes sense because he has shown zero remorse or accountability while rezko helped the feds with their investigation. i originally thought 8 but let's make it 15 years for rod.

penn state? don't get me started............. again.

have a great day!
