MY HATE FOR NOTRE DAME BOILS OVER

How nice was it to watch notre dame get their asses kicked ONCE AGAIN in a major bowl game? when are the selection committees going to learn that they're NOT an upper tier football program and don't deserve any consideration when it gets close to new years day? there are plenty of bowls for them: sun bowl, gator, las vegas, arizona, frisco, new orleans, etc.....i think you get the idea.

And don't give me that crap about how tough their schedule is! when you only schedule 2 or 3 tough games a year and load up on teams like toledo, western michigan, virginia, navy, georgia tech and wake forest, you deserve ZERO CONSIDERATION from the big bowls.

And then they defend the schedule with "we have to schedule 10 years ahead of time." well, despite the fact that i hate them with the burning passion of the flames of hell, i can help them out with their scheduling 'problem'............ JOIN A CONFERENCE,  PUSSY!

i would love to see them play 8 or 9 games in the BIG TEN, SEC, BIG 12 OR THE PAC 12 because they would get their asses kicked on a regular basis.  the problem is that notre dame is also well aware of that which is why they've turned down invitations to join the big ten and sec and as a matter of fact, even turned down the ACC! "oh, we'll join you for basketball but not football."

Think i'm being too hard on them about the bowl games? i submit the following list of bowl games since 2000 when both teams were ranked in the top ten:

2001 FIESTA  OREGON WINS 41-9

2006 FIESTA OHIO STATE WINS  34-20

2007 SUGAR  LSU WINS  41-14

2013 BCS CHAMPIONSHIP  ALABAMA WINS  42-14

2016 FIESTA  OHIO STATE WINS  44-28

2018 SEMI-FINALS  CLEMSON WINS  30-3

For those challenged with math....232-88 aggregate score.

If you grade college football on four levels, on a good year they are a level two team but level one is hard to achieve and it's only done by playing the best competition year in and year out.

So the simple solution is to eliminate those sanctimonious, self-serving, cheating bastards from major bowls and our holiday football viewing will improve tenfold.

 With the government shutdown in it's third week, LITTLE DONNIE has his arms folded, holding his breath and stomping his feet to get the five billion dollars he wants for the wall at the mexican border. But his worst nightmare occurred this week when the democratic MAJORITY was sworn in, took control of the house and elected NANCY PELOSI as the speaker. 

I've played a hundred thousand poker hands in my life and i can guarantee you that little donnie will fold his hand and NOT get the wall money because he is crushing the republican party with the shutdown and the democrats eventually will present a budget that ends the stoppage and gets everyone back to work and when little donnie vetos it, he hands the country to the democrats.

His presidency is over and he knows it. pelosi is a vindictive bitch and lawyers will be working overtime regarding a sitting president being indicted, let alone impeached. And when he doesn't surrender his tax returns, the toast just gets a little more burned.

I don't agree with vice-president MIKE PENCE'S ultra-conservative views but he is quiet and reserved and has the dignity to be president.  and i would wager a dollar or two that he has no idea how tweeting works.  just saying.

ELIZABETH WARREN announces her interest in becoming the democratic nominee for president.  WHAAAAAAT? stop it and go home, liz.  formerly a registered republican, she jumped ship back in the late 90's and eventually became the senator from massachusets in 2012.  However, she has constantly claimed she's a native american and she gloated when her dna test confirmed that she was 1.5% indian.   one point five %. she is an embarrassment and the democrats need someone much stronger for 2020.

Moving away from the cesspool of politics, how about that horrible story from a rehab facility in phoenix, arizona?  a woman who has been in a vegetative state for ten years recently gave birth  !  state officials "deeply troubled" over this development. no kidding.

IHOP has announced that it will close 40 locations due to a steep decline in business.  i spent many a drunken saturday night at 3 in the morning trying to figure out the menu. how sad.

Want to take a guess as to the top four presidents regarding the performance of the stock market since WWI? 

in order starting at # 4 and working up,  BARACK OBAMA bounced back from the recession that started under GEORGE BUSH and the stock market rallied 148% during his 8 years.

  #3 was FDR at 198% and #2 was BILL CLINTON at 228% PLUS when he left office AND there was a budget surplus! (noticed any of that lately?)

#1 was CALVIN COOLIDGE who served as president from 1923-1929 and the stock market boomed at +230%.  six months after he left office, the stock market crashed and the GREAT DEPRESSION took over for the next 8 years.

DONALD TRUMP?  +19% for 11th place.

i apologize for the absence but i just got back on-line so here goes.

first of all, the CHICAGO CUBS are simply loaded for bear and coast into the post season as the odds on favorite to win it all and they deserve the kudos. they've had a great season and need just 11 more wins to send the clark street crowd on it's way to a record number of cocaine overdoses. can you imaging that crowd at the 'all you can snort' table for 72 straight hours? wow.

the CHICAGO BEARS are one of the three worst teams in the NFL. i saw them in person on sunday and even holding the lead, the place was half empty in the 4th quarter.  they really suck and the fans acted like it was a loss.  but they still have great tailgating!

KEVIN WHITE? a disastrous 1st round draft pick who has played 4 games in two years and is now out for the rest of the year with a broken leg. with his bonuses, white mad a million and a half PER GAME. nice.
